Kelly has been a Critical Care Nurse for over 25 years, possesses a Master’s of Science Degree from Loyola University at Chicago and is Board Certified as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She has extensive experience in Critical Care Medicine with a cardiovascular focus. Her clinical rotations during Grad School were at Northwestern University in Chicago and at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Illinois with an emphasis in Cardiovascular, Transplant, Heart Failure and General ICU. She is a member of the Association of Critical Care Nurses, Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Heart Association, Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Kelly received the 2016 Magnet Award in Community Service for Advocate Christ Medical Center and has been an educator for Emergency Medical Personnel, ICU Nurses and Medical Residents. She maintains her certifications as a Certified Critical Care Nurse and Cardiovascular Nurse. She believes in achieving positive outcomes through the collaborative efforts of health care providers, patients and families...while utilizing the “human touch.”
