Dr. Aslamy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Barrett's Honor College at Arizona State University then attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine. After obtaining her Medical Doctorate in 1991, she returned to Phoenix for Internal Medicine training and then moved to Los Angeles to complete her Cardiology training at University of Southern California and Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles. She joined Arizona Cardiology Group in 1997. She is an invasive and general cardiologist with expertise in nuclear cardiology and echocardiography.
Dr. Aslamy has been Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is currently Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease. She is a designated Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) representing the highest level of training.
She enjoys all aspects of the field with particular interest in congestive heart failure, preventive cardiology and valvular heart disease. She has been awarded several Patient's Choice Awards and participates in research as well as teaching at St. Joseph's Hospital.
